To obtain a refund on a software product license that was delivered
to you online, you must adhere to the following guidelines. If

Returns not pre-authorized by
SageTV, LLC will not be refunded.
All non-OEM software products from SageTV, LLC ("SageTV") include a free 15-day trial
period. All SageTV products will function during this trial period without the
activation of a license. You are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the 15-day trial period on
all products, as activating a license renders it non-returnable and no refund will be authorized.
The Trial software is also fully supported so use the Support section of our website or the Discussion Forum
for help when you need it.
All returns for downloaded software must be pre-authorized by SageTV as
described below. Your right to obtain a refund for downloaded software or software license
lasts only for a limited time. Your request for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (described below)
must be made to SageTV within 30 days of the date SageTV made the software
or software license available to you (the "Purchase Date"), and SageTV must receive,
at its offices, your fully completed and signed Affidavit of Software Destruction within 35 days of the
Purchase Date. No refund will be made until the Affidavit has been received by SageTV,
or if the time requirements described above are not met. SageTV is not responsible for
lost or misdirected mail, delays for downloading, or other communication system delays.
All returns for hardware must be pre-authorized by SageTV as
described below. Your right to obtain a refund for hardware purchased from SageTV lasts only
for a limited time. Returned hardware products must contain all components (CD, manuals, software
carton, etc.) that were included in the original shipment. No credit will be issued for incomplete
or non-SageTV product returns. All returns must be postmarked to SageTV within
30 days after the date SageTV originally shipped the product. All hardware returns must have a Return
Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) clearly displayed on the outside of the return package. To
receive your RMA for hardware refunds, please send an e-mail to orders@sagetv.com .
Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded and a 10% restocking charge will be applied.
Any returns requested for hardware purchased in a bundle will be credited less the retail cost of the
applicable software purchased in that bundle.
Products not purchased directly from SageTV must be
returned to the place of purchase (Web store, etc.) and are subject to the return policies of the place
of purchase.
To receive a refund for downloaded software purchases from SageTV
, you must obtain from SageTV an Affidavit of Software Destruction (described below),
and complete and return the Affidavit to SageTV. No credit will be issued for incomplete
or non-SageTV component returns. You must also destroy all copies of the software you
may have made or stored in any place, as well as uninstall the software from any computers owned or controlled
by you where you have installed the software. Once you have returned the Affidavit of Software
Destruction to SageTV, all licenses you may have to use the software will be immediately
terminated, and any further use of the software will be an infringement of copyrights as well as other
intellectual property rights.
All Affidavits of Software Destruction must have a Return Merchandise Authorization
Number (RMA#) issued by SageTV clearly displayed on the form. To receive a RMA#,
contact SageTV via e-mail at

You must provide sufficient information for SageTV to be able to identify your transaction,
such as the SageTV order number and/or invoice number and/or date of transaction given to
you when the download was ordered. If SageTV is able to identify your order, and the
request is made within the timeframe discussed above, you will be given a RMA# as well as a copy of the
Affidavit of Software Destruction ready for completion and return to SageTV.
When making your request for an RMA#, please provide SageTV
with your e-mail address if you can receive and print a document in Adobe Acrobat® (or ".pdf")
format. If you are not able to receive the form by e-mail in a .pdf format, you must also
provide us with a fax number or mailing address to receive the form. Remember, no matter how you
choose to receive and/or return the form, you are still responsible for meeting the limited time rule
discussed above. You must fill out any missing information on the Affidavit of Software Destruction,
sign and date the Affidavit, and return it to SageTV as instructed on the form.
When SageTV receives your properly completed and signed
Affidavit of Software Destruction within the timeframe discussed above, SageTV will provide
a refund to you of the amount you paid for the software plus refund any appropriate taxes
charged with that order. SageTV will not refund any shipping or handling charges
that may have been charged to you. Refunds will be made in the same manner as you
purchased the product. If you purchased by check or money order, SageTV will send you
a check, so please be sure we have your mailing address. If you purchased by credit
card, include your credit card information on the Affidavit of Software Destruction. If
you purchased with PayPal, a PayPal payment will be sent or a refund will be issued via
PayPal.
